B and W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch Installation - 2020 Ram 3500- Video
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the B&W Companion 5th wheel hitch with slider base and seeing how it fits on our 2020 RAM 3500. Now, a couple things to note with this that we are using this with a 6 1/2 foot bed. With those shorter bed lengths, I always recommend a slider base. If you've got an eight foot bed, then you probably don't need the slider and you can check out just the regular Companion 5th wheel. And in addition to that, we are using this in conjunction with the factory prep package. more

B and W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Ram 3500- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the B&W Patriot Sliding Fifth-Wheel in a 2018 Ram 3500. Now B&W is one of my personal favorites when it comes to Fifth-Wheel or Goosenecks in general. The quality is awesome and they really do have a nice product and this is no different and it's got a lot of nice features. In fact, one of the great things about this is you can take this head up and pull it off, which seems like a small thing, but really it takes a lot of weight off. If you ever plan on taking this outta your bed, to take the whole thing out, can get pretty heavy. So being able to remove a pretty heavy section of it allows you to get this out and you can still use your truck bed. more

Curt Q25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Ram 3500- Video
Today in our 2018 Ram 3500, we're gonna be taking a look at the Curt Q25 5th wheel trailer hitch for Ram tow prep package. This is what our Curt Q25 5th wheel hitch looks like when it's installed. This is gonna allow us to easily hook up to the king pin on our 5th wheel trailer. It's designed to work with our factory OEM prep package. One of the things that's gonna separate this hitch from others out there is the base. As you can see, it's not gonna take up a whole lot of space. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2021 Ram 3500, we're gonna be checking out the Curt A25 5th Wheel Hitch for the trucks that have the OEM prep package. We do get a lot of questions asking if something like this will fit with your particular truck or not. And as long as you have that OEM prep package, this should just drop right into place and work out well for you. And after I kind of played with these a few times, I feel like these prep packages should be, come right from the factory in just about every heavy duty truck. These things are awesome and they make everything really convenient when you want to use a hitch like this. more

Reese OEM 5th Wheel Hitch Installation - 2018 Ram 3500- Video
Today on our 2018 Ram 3500 we're going to be taking a look at the Reese OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Towing prep-package.This is what our Reese 5th Wheel Hitch looks like when it's installed in our truck. This is going to allow us to easily hook up to the king pin on our 5th wheel trailer. A nice thing about this, is this is designed to work with our factory puck system.This curved hitch is going to have a nice wide base. Constructed of forged steel with a nice black powder coat finish that's going to resist any rust or corrosion. Each foot can be easily adjusted to lock into our factory puck system. Our center section allows us to adjust the height of our head by giving us 2-1/2" of adjustability.For our head they've allowed us a have wide opening here at the front that's going to allow us to hook up to our king pin very easily even if we're at an angle. more

Demco 5th Wheel Underbed Rail Kit Installation - 2013 Ram 3500- Video
Today on our 2013 RAM 3500, we're going to take a look at installing the Demco Underbed Rail and Install Kit for the Demco Hijacker UMS Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck Trailer Hitches, part number DM8551006. With your under mount system, it's going to allow you to mount the Demco Hijacker UMS Double Pivot Fifth Wheel Chariot. Now without our hitch installed, we have some rubber plugs that are going to go over the holes, help keep out dirt and debris. You want to make sure you keep this area in here lubed up where your pins will fit, just to keep corrosion out. This fifth wheel hitch is designed to carry 21,000 pounds. It's got a 360 degree jaw to king pin contact. more

Fifth Wheel Hitch Installation - 2015 Ram 3500- Video
Today on our 2015 Ram 3500 Heavy Duty Crew Cab we're going to be installing the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package vehicles, rated for 25,000 pounds, part number BWRVK3600. There's a handle on each side that has the black rubber piece on it. As you lift up, that's what releases it so that when you set it down on, it catches and locks it in place. You'll then need to take the pin, go back through, put your clip in. You need to do that for both sides. Now the head can pivot forward and backwards. Now that we have the head attached, to release the jaws so that you can hook up your camper or trailer, you remove the pin. more

B and W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Ram 3500- Video
Today on this 2011 Dodge Ram pickup 3500 series crew cab we're going to install part number BWRVK3500-5W. We want to make sure we remove the gooseneck ball. At this point we can go ahead and start working with our 5th wheel companion hitch. We're going to start off our hitch partially assembled already. So we see an extra set of hands to help hold it and put it into the bed of the truck and then we'll go ahead and put it into our hitch. Initially in place, we want to make sure that our pads are in the truck of the bed itself. Tighten down the hardware to secure our pads. We're lucky our bolts actually got a little bit of bind so we can just tighten them down from the top. more
